An all metal kit of this design of riveted ballast hopper wagon, the forerunner of the Catfish. Able to discharge ballast between the rails. The kit is easy to assemble owing to a separate ladder type chassis which is built first and all the other parts are connected to it.
It is recommended that the main superstructure of this kit is soldered and the small pieces if you wish can be superglued. Interesting looking hopper with the full length side supports
Requires 2 x 12mm wheels/axle sets and shouldered pinpoint bearings
